The Salon of French Artists is a Parisian event created by artists, for artists. Firmly anchored in the present, it welcomes over 600 contemporary artists each year. Deeply rooted in history, the Salon has been sustained by artists for more than three centuries, succeeding the Salon of the Académie des Beaux-Arts, held from the late 17th century until 1880.
Throughout its long history, the Salon des Artistes Français has remained dedicated to bringing together a wide range of artists and works, reflecting both the vitality of today’s art scene and the creative energy that drives the art world in France and internationally.

2024 – Salon d’Automne 2024 – Champs-Élysées

Founded in 1903 at the Petit Palais in Paris by a circle of friends challenging the dominant academicism of the time, the Salon d’Automne soon emerged as both a driving force and a privileged witness to the birth of the major artistic movements of the 20th century – Fauvism, Surrealism, Cubism, Abstract Art, Nouvelle Figuration, Art Singulier, among others.

2017 – 60 ans du CAES du CNRS – exposition “Nos agents ont du talent !”
from May 25 to June 5, 2017 at Valbonne Village.
In 2017, the CAES celebrated its 60th anniversary. On this occasion, the CAES regional branch for the Côte d’Azur organized the exhibition “Our staff has talent”, showcasing around one hundred works ranging from painting to sculpture, and from drawing to photography.
